MySpace a place for friends

Faak Am See was born in the year 2002. in a small croatian border town called Slavonski Brod. The idea to form a band came from two best friends Marko and Petar, both Marko and Petar had couple projects/bands in the past, but those bands didnt quite fit their taste in punk music. But the real action started when Bojan and Blaza( both playing in Kriva istina) and Marin (then singing in Prigovor savijesti) joined. After several rehearsals the band had a enough songs for their first gig. The gig was held in Press Club, legendary venue in the center of Slavonski Brod, where Faak Am See impressed local punk scene with their energy and agressive live performanse. After couple of gigs in nearby towns, in the spring of year 2003. Faak Am See recorded 3 songs in their rehearsal room using a 1-2-3 method ( Band playing all at once, and the vocals are recorded seperatly). These 3 songs where releasead on a DIY compilation CD titled "Kompilacija brodskih bandova" and it represented our local town hc/punk scene and the band that were in that time active such as : Faul and Lotus.

After that Faak am See had gigs and was writing new songs. In the autmn of 2005. the band went in professional studio "Depth" were they recorded 8 new songs that were published on split MC with "Kriva Istina". The tape was released thru several croatian DIY labels such as DHP , Brand new place, Krv Pijem, Krv serem, Burn their trends.

From then all the way to present day, Faak Am See is writing new songs, playing gigs ( not very often) and preparing for their next studio adventure.

Faak Am See is a hardcore punk band that stands firmly on DIY ethics, anti-fasist activism and both as band and as people we are against opression and discrimination of any sort. We are not P.C. preachers were just group of people that are expressing their anger and their thought on the world that surrounds them.
