Who is she? Well, none other than Honey B. Through her drive and determination, she continues to prove that she is so far ahead of her time.Not only is she one of the youngest & well-respected radio personalities on the East Coast, but she strives to be the best in everything she does. Honey B, a native of Richmond, Va, entered the radio industry at the young age of 18 and hasn't stopped climbing to the top. "I was just 18,interning at Power 92.1, and a week after I was interning, they offered me a spot on the number one night show in Richmond (Bad Boy Radio) with Big Nat and the Streetsweeper, DJ Foot."I was like too excited for words," says Honey B. Honey B is also a full time third year college student formally majoring in mass communications, presently majoring in criminal justice; so that leaves her with no time for play."I work hard, so I can play harder. It's all about how badly you want something. Everything I set my mind to, I accomplish," says the twenty year old with confidence. Even though she's been heard on VA's airwaves for only a year and a half, she is no rookie to the game. As a 17 year old freshman at Norfolk State University, Honey B. conducted her own television shows
and segments which consisted of interviewing artists such as Def Jam new-comer,Megan Rochell. With her eager attitude, there is no stopping Honey B." I aspire to inspire those who feel that dreams are unattainable.Yeah,I meet celebrities all of the time, but that's not what makes me happy.What
makes me happy is knowing that I gave another young person the confidence to know that even as young adults, we can still do what we dream of doing,"says Honey B.
