Hi, my name is Fabian Ruiz, im originally from a small city called Mayaguez from the island of Puerto Rico. Specifically, Barrio Dulces Labios. I have been playing guitar for over 22 years and have studied music at the Interamerican Univeristy of San German in Puerto Rico. I won a scholarship from the Bellas Artes of Puerto Rico to further my studies in music. At which time I came to California and studied at MIT. I graduated from MIT in the Guitar program with honors. My specialties are 7 and 8 string guitars. I then started with a Hollywood band called Suicide Alley and played with them for two years. I then joined another Hollywood band called Mona for Now. We have traveled across the United States from Washington, to Seattle, to Las Vegas to San Diego, Nashville and Puerto Rico. I have recorded 5 cds with Mona for Now, two instrumental cds and I am currently working on a new instrumental cd. With Mona for Now we had a song featured on an Artisan horror movie called Soul Survivor. Mona for Now also had one of our video's played on televions Friday Night Video's. We have also won Hollywoods Rock City News as best new band. I also teach guitar and am available for studio work in Los Angeles, California........
