Fabio Cascio first began his musical career when he was thirteen years old, beginning solo he played metal music, a genre he felt a natural abundance to. Later, he began to play with local bands in his home city of Turin – northern Italy. At the age of sixteen he was aware that music was to be his life and his passion and from this moment he began lessons with Alessandro Maiorino who at the time was at the time an established and well known double bass player (former member of Mano Negra). These lessons were perused over a period of four years. His studies were continued in CPM (Premiata Forneria Marconi school, Milan) with electric bass specialist Dino D’Autorio, who at the time was a well know touring bass player, accompanying the likes of Renato Zero, and many other famous Italian composers. He also studies music ‘d’ensemble’ alongside Paolo Jannacci and several touring musicians and music theory with Fabio Nuzzolese. He completed a master in Jazz Walking Bass under the watchful eye of Paolo Dalla Porta, an expert double bass player on a European scale. His supplementary instrument of choice was the piano which he practiced over a period of two years. Through the university he had the opportunity to attend workshops of artists such as Victor Wooten, Ares Tavolazzi and Marcus Miller. Meanwhile Fabio was an active member of the E.Macario orchestra. Later he began to play with cover bands of Elvis Presley, Genesis, Iron Maiden and many others. He was the bass player for Alessandro Gaza in the Guitar Heroes Blues festival in Milan. Shortly after this experience in Milan, Fabio began to play alongside Pirati, Ricardo Lombardo ( ayott endorcer ) and collaborated with Beppe Nicolosi and expert piano player Andrea Bozzetto in a Funk band. In 2006 Fabio did a bass demonstration for Midi Music at Bass day in Verona, Italy. Meanwhile Fabio was a member of the A Macs Band (peppermusic records) and Soulstuff band alongside Riccardo Moffa ( Artur Miles ) and Carmelo Contino . In 2007 Fabio decided to move to Dublin in order to persue and develop his musical career further. He began by doing live performances and studio recordings with Aoife Moriarty and Kevin Brady, he then toured with Unseen Guest in Germany for Tuition Label. Fabio is currently the bass player for Dublin's Midnight Swing Big Band, directed by Keith Kelly from the nationally renowned Army band of Dublin which is playing all over the country. He 's playing also with the funky band Everyday People , most of the performance with this band at the moment are in the Gaiethy Theatre of Dublin.He also performed live with the jazz guitar player Eamonn Moran ,the singer Kevin Morrow and the drummer Mic O'connor.



Some of Fabio's most important recordings include "Small Hiding to Disappear" by Terzasfera (withwhom he also performed in Sonika (2004) Catania with Tinturia ,Max Gazzè,and the "phonograph" by Istituto Barlumen (Barlumen Records ) out now in Italy. He has been teaching since 2002, when in Italy for the music school "Allegro" and Pepper Music Studio, both in Turin. Currently in Dublin Fabio is giving private lessons to a number of students and assisting in music classes at Trinity College Dublin. Having been in Dublin close to a year and a half, he is finishing now the solo album with the video included.. The last importants gigs were in Cork for the Jazz music Cork festival on the 24 th - 25th october with Everyday People which was a great experience. Currently he is living in London from the 12th of november , he will start the promotion of his new solo album " UNEXPECTED " and a video of "Valse hot" arranged by him. Currently Fabio is playing with the Wish Magic tour orchestra for all Uk Area. He is collaborating also with Guy Barzily , and Eoghan Gallagher for the Libero Entertainment L.t.d ( www.liberomusic.com). His last collaborations were with " Diva" party function band, "Earl green and the right time" blues band with Earl Green vox and Mike Paice on sax. kasho plays " Valse Hot "
