Sono nato l' 8 gennaio 1967 a Pavia e risiedo in "lomellina" (Lùmléna) a Sannazzaro de' B.(PV). Autodidatta da sempre, ho cominciato ad appassionarmi alla batteria all'età di 6anni percuotendo con dei legni vari bidoni e delle vecchie pentole di mia nonna...da quel momento in poi il ritmo non mi ha più abbandonato. Dopo anni di pseudo batterie, a 12anni la prima semiprof., una Maxtone, "demolita" accompagnando per intere giornate le tracce di LP e 45 dei più svariati generi musicali che mi capitavano fra le mani. Da li a poco ho iniziato a suonare con diversi gruppi di cover e amici "musicisti" della zona....Le mie prime bands, un gruppo hard rock, The Demons Eyes (con l'amico d'infanzia Fabrizio alias "Truno"), il gruppo dance 80s, The New Mirage (con Truno, Davide, Monica e Luciano), etc...A 20anni è il blues il genere che più mi attrae, "semplice" ma capace di trasmettere e ricevere vere emozioni. I primi gruppi blues sono nati con gli amici French, Lampo, Arbus, Ciga, Giò e Pepi...Da allora ho transitato in molti gruppi di swing, blues e roots & roll come; Arbus & the Frogs, Matteo Bosisio & D.W.I., Little Victor & the Boomers, The Original Trucks di Franco Limido, Mandolin Brothers e molti altri, avendo modo di collaborare anche con personaggi di un certo spessore della scena blues italiana e americana. Attualmente collaboro con Ettore "Eddie" Ferro, Gianfranco "French" Scala e Mario Spampinato nei MOTHERFUNK.
I was born on January 8th, 1967 in Pavia and I live in Sannazzaro de’ B. (Pavia), in the countryside of Lomellina. I have always studied by myself and I was just 6 when I discovered my passion for percussions beating some tanks and grandma’s old saucepans with sticks. Since then rhythm has always been part of my life. After years of pseudo-drums, at 12 I got my first professional set, a Maxtone which I smashed by accompanying all day long the LP and 45 tracks of the most varied music kinds I happend to come across. I a timeshot I was off playing with some neighbourhood friend “musicians” in various cover bands.
The hard-rock Demons Eyes (together with my long time friend Fabrizio alias “Truno”), “The New Mirage” where we played dance music of the 80’s (with “Truno”, Davide, Monica and Luciano) have been my first bands. By the time I was 20 blues was my favourite music, “simple” but capable of conveying deep emotions. The first blues bands were founded together with my friends French, Lampo, Arbus, Ciga, Giò and Pepi. Since then I experimented also with other kinds of music like swing, blues, and roots & roll playing with different groups like Matteo Bosisio & DWI, Little Victor & the Boomers, The Original Trucks of Franco Limido, The Mandolin Brothers and many more. In this way I also had the opportunity of working with prominent people of the Italian and American blues scene. At present I play with Ettore "Eddie" Ferro, Gianfranco “French” Scala and Mario Spampinato in the MOTHERFUNK.
