I am a writer. My first nationally published novel released in July 2006. The book is called Fablehaven, a fantasy adventure in the same genre as Harry Potter. It is written for ages 9 and up, adults included. Fablehaven is about a hidden refuge established to protect and preserve magical creatures. A brother and sister, Kendra and Seth, discover that their grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven, and trouble ensues. I'm in the mode of trying to get word out about the book, in the spirit of promoting a fabulous underground band. The second book, Fablehaven: Rise of the Evening Star released in May 2007. In September of 2007 my first non-Fablehaven novel releases. It is called the Candy Shop War.

I just wanted to let you know that I am your biggest 19 year old fan! I read fantasy novels all the time, but none have been as refreshing as Fablehaven. Its plot line as well as its characters are truly original and memorable. I look forward to the last installment! Most of the time, I am pretty good at picking out plot points and bad guys in disguise early on in the books I read. In Fablehaven 4, I was taken totally by surprise. I LOVED it. Thanks.

Thanks for the add. I found the first book at a childrens book fair about a year ago. I just picked one because I didn't want to leave empty handed and I fell in love and even bought the last one the day it came out. I'm looking forward to the next one :-)
