Newcastle has a history for hard rock talent. From The Animals to The Tygers Of Pan Tang, AC/DC's Brian Johnson to Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler, the city famous for football and Brown Ale has always boasted a heaving underbelly of guitar-based grit.
