FABRIZIO CONSOLI, Italian, born in Milan, where he currently lives.
Since the 80's FC was a highly sought after session musician that played,
toured and recorded with many artists at the forefront of the Italian Music
Scene, artists such as Eugenio Finardi, Alice, PFM, C. De Andrè, Mauro Pagani,
O Fado,
"La Notte Delle Chitarre" and many others...
From the 90's until the present day, FC's career as a professional musician and artist,
has seen him record and publish several records, win the 1994 San Remo Giovani
Award for young "up and coming artists", which allowed him to take part in the 45th “Festival della Canzone Italiana”- the main music festival devoted to the Italian song, on
stage at the Ariston Theater in San Remo- in February 1995.
FC has written hit songs (for famous artists including "Dirotta Su Cuba" and Eugenio Finardi), produced and performed "Forgive Us" (a project featuring the voice of John Paul II on lead vocals), and in the meantime he has also won important prices (like the 2004 Ciampi Award for song writers), written soundtracks and even performed live in a theatrical comedy …
However, FC's first passion is as a singer songwriter and live performer.
In June 2007 after performing at the Muenchen Festival for Italian songwriters, the German label Sieben-Punkt, published FC's original track "Una Rosa", taken from his latest work, "MUSICA PER BALLARE", a refined "crossover" blending jazz, french chansonniers, original scores with a longing for South American flavours which results in a fascinating concert rich in “chiaroscuro”, bittersweet, auto-ironic and minimalist histories, a gallery of colourful experiences that we can all relate to and produce deep emotions.

FABRIZIO CONSOLI nasce a Seregno ( Mi ), e attualmente vive a Milano.
E’ protagonista, dagli anni ’80, di un’intensa attività di session man al fianco di diversi artisti di primo piano della scena musicale italiana, quali Eugenio Finardi, Alice, De Andrè, Mauro Pagani, PFM, O Fado, “La notte delle Chitarre” e moltissimi altri, intraprendendo anche una lunga serie di tournèe dal vivo, sia in Italia che all’estero. Dagli anni’90 ad oggi il suo percorso professionale lo porta a pubblicare diversi dischi, vincere la selezione di San Remo Giovani ‘94 guadagnandosi il passaggio al 45° Festival della Canzone Italiana del febbraio successivo ( è sul palco del Teatro Ariston per San Remo 1995), scrivere e produrre diverse canzoni di successo (per artisti quali Dirotta Su Cuba ed Eugenio Finardi), creare “Forgive us” ( un progetto che vedeva alla voce Giovanni Paolo II), vincere premi e riconoscimenti importanti (come il premio Ciampi 2004), scrivere colonne sonore e… recitare in commedie teatrali! Ma non c’è dubbio che la dimensione che più predilige sia quella cantautorale e di attività Live. Nel giugno 2007, dopo la sua partecipazione al Muenchen Festival viene pubblicato dall’etichetta tedesca Sieben-Punkt la canzone “Una Rosa”, tratta dal suo prossimo lavoro, dal titolo “MUSICA PER BALLARE”., un raffinato “crossover” tra jazz, canzone d’autore e un’ allegra e malinconica… voglia di Sud America. Il risultato è un concerto coinvolgente e soprattutto ricco di “dulcamare” e autoironiche storie minimali, quasi una piccola galleria di colorite esperienze assolute e condivisibili- e proprio per questo capaci di emozionare.

Entrando dopo tempo nella tua pagina sento una specie di dolore, mi fa l'effetto di un ricordo indefinito, di qualcosa di atavico a cui non riesco a dare un nome....te lo avevo già detto...è bellissima.
