From classic country, to rock ‘n roll that unexpectedly becomes bluegrass, The Fabulous Bender Boys unique sound includes an eclectic blend of “Benderized Country” and “BenderGrass”. The Fabulous Bender Boys strong musicianship shines on their single, “Beer Pressure”, featuring the Bender’s soaring vocal harmonies and incredible instrumental work on their Crook Custom guitars and basses. Beer Pressure was ranked 86 of the top 98 songs for 2008 on 98.7 FM WOVK. Their debut single “Same Shift, Different Day” was ranked 88 out of the top 100 songs of 2007 on 98.7 FM WOVK. The band's latest single, "Too Much Month At The End Of The Money" is currently receiving airplay.
The Fabulous Bender Boy’s made a cameo appearance in Brad Paisley’s 2007 video, “Letter To Me”, which continually runs on GAC and CMT.
The Fabulous Bender Boys are all West Virginia natives, and include Roger Hoard, “Buck Bender” on lead guitar and vocals, Jim Miller, “Butch Bender” on lead guitar, banjitar, mandolin, fiddle, and vocals, Chad Smith, “Buster Bender” on drums and vocals, and Mike Mazure, “Buzz Bender” on bass guitar. With roots ranging from Jamboree USA to rock ‘n roll, The Benders have worked together in different combinations before uniting as “The Fabulous Bender Boys”, and at that point the Bender Magic became apparent. What started as an outlet for some friends to make music together has become one of the newest and most original acts rising in country music today.

On Sunday, March 22nd NewsChannel 3, Knuclehead's Roadhouse in Virginia Beach and local rock band "Chasing Corona" are teaming up to help Smithfield Lt. Kurt Beach!
Knucklehead's will host a dinner and live auction starting at 5:00pm! Stop in and have dinner and bring your checkbook to bid on some amazing items! A portion of the proceeds from dinner and 100% of all profits from the auction will go directly to the Kurt Beach Medical Fund.
