FaceDown had it's start in early 2007 compiled of three best friends from the small town of Nashville, Michigan. With mostly band-written lyrics and music and a sound all their own (that occaisonally sounds a bit like Breaking Benjamin, Skillet or Disciple), they made their first public debut at "A Day In The Son" in August, 2007. Since then the band has been working hard to come up with new songs and a new sound that will take them where they want to be in the music industry. The focus of their efforts, though, has always been to glorify the Savior. Wherever they go and whatever they do, both as a band and individually, they make a point to be shining lights for Christ. All three band members are heavily involved in their churches praise teams to lead worship for the youth groups. Praying that God will bless their efforts and desire to become musicians, the band is trying to make an impact for Christ in the lives of young people through leading worship and writing songs about life struggles, love and finding hope in Christ.
