MUSIC: All kinds but mostly heavy music
RUNNING: I ran NCAA Div III X-C and have been roadracing my whole life. In 2005, I completed my first triathlon (thanks Heidi!) and in the last 4 years I've managed to run 6 marathons including Boston which was quite the thrill! I also ran the Mt Marathon race in Seward, AK in '06. This is a mountain running race and is pretty insane. Most Alaskans know what I'm talking about. I hope to run The Manchester City Marathon (NH) in a few months.
HIKING: The mountains of New Hampshire and Maine rule but they don't compare to Alaska. One of my goals is to do Denali (McKinley) someday. I fulfilled a childhood dream in 2007 by thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail from April to Oct.
SNOWBOARDING: Just started a few years ago and I'm lovin' it
MOUNTAIN BIKING: New to the sport. Very kickass. Give me a few years.

About me: Born and raised in New England. Drove to Alaska in February 2005. This took me 11 days. Love makes you do crazy things. I've been in commercial rock radio for 20 years now starting with WBLM in Portland Maine in 1987 and went from classic rock to alternative in '95 with WCYY. From '05 to '07 I did weeknights at KWHL in Anchorage and hosted The Metal Meltdown. April '07 I decided to hike the Appalachian Trail. This took 6 months and 1 day. Check out my blogs for details. Personally I think Pats. should have punted and put the pressure on the Colts offense but if they make that 4th down play then they pretty much neutralize Manning and the high power offense, could have went both ways which is a great quality in a woman but open for discussion in football.............good to have you back on the attack....................OUT
