About Face of Brutality( Looking For A Singer!!!!)
Face of Brutality is an up-and-coming metal band based out of Fairfield, CA. Originally an instrumental group including current guitarist Torrin Gray and drummer Bobby Yap, along with rhythm guitarist Andrew Hanson and bassist Dylan Christiansen, the band began to take its current form when vocalist Greg De La Campa was added to the lineup and bassist Dylan Christiansen was replaced by Carson Rogers in early 2005. By the end of summer that year, Andrew Hanson was no longer a part of the band and Face of Brutality began to establish themselves with the lineup they still have today. Since then, the band has played many gigs throughout Northern California, while continuing to write and record music. They have shared the stage with bands ranging from local acts like themselves to more well-known artists such as Vital Remains and the legendary Florida-based death metal band Deicide. Face of Brutality have entered Sacramento's Pus Cavern Studios twice, the first time in 2006 to record the songs "Sworn Enemy," "Haven," and "This Nameless Fear," with Joe Johnston (Deftones, Papa Roach, Cake) and Eric Broyhill (Zao, Team Sleep, Brotha Lynch Hung) and for the second time in 2008 to record "In Lieu of Ashes" and "Through the Eyes" with engineer Josh Benton. In 2009, they have had to release there long-time singer Greg De La Campa and are now currently searching for a singer. While having minor set backs, they are still working hard to keep thrash metal alive on the scene, and hope to make themselves heard by metal heads everywhere. We try to get people together to have a good time and to kill boredom. Our site as a comic, photo journal, writing area, and a music section for now. The Music section called "Feel the Music" is a place where people can go and see what is happening with the local music scene. We have links to venues, bands and a calendar that contains the events from all of the venues listed. If you know of bands not listed that should be, have them drop us a line.
