About Face the Game - looking for dates everywhere!!
Face the Game were born in 2006 early june after a Madball show.
Initially composed by Vichai (guitar) and Ivan (ex lead-singer), later entusiastically joined by xTunax (drums) and Ivo ( ex bassist).
The band, at the very begining of their existance, made proof of a NYHC-influenced hardcore with some really heavy metal riffs.
After some months of rehearsal the very fist concert took place at CTL in Viganello, 25 TA LIFE were supposed to be there but they never showed up ahahah.
Some concerts between Italy and Switzerland followed immediately after.
June 2007 Ivo leaves the band but Ale (ex bassist) greatly replaces him and in only a week learns all the tracks!
December 2007 they recorded the first demo at the CISA in Lugano.
April 2008 Peffa (guitarist) joined the band as a second guitar; the band bends its sound towards thrash metal with some LA's influences (Terror,Donnybrook,etc).
Fall/winter 2008 and beginning 2009 was a satisfactory period for the young band who managed to play live in Italy and the german and french speaking parts of Switzerland with
a lot of satisfaction!
Playing life is the most important part to us, we try to interact the most with the crowd playing emotionally while creating of physical show.
December 2008 the band records again in the Stairway Studio of Maroggia, property of Ste Scenini (ex Maja), 3 tracks for a Split-CD, thanks again to the Brothers and Brothers for this chance!
April 2009 Ivan leaves the band for unknown reasons, Ale took the Voice and xUnterx (bassist) took his place.
During summer 2009 Ale also leaves the band for musical reasons but luckly Fio (lead-singer) ,ex Pround to be hated, takes the vacant place.
Now our sound is faster, thrashier and even more 2 step, we want to see the crowd moshing and having fun like there's no tomorrow! :)
Right now we just want to play live the most we can, visit new places and get to know new people, who really believe,like us, in certain
values like FRIENDSHIP, LOYALTY and TRUTH.
Sadly, we experienced it on our own skin more than once, some people aren't willing to talk the talk and walk the walk.
Surely we aren't here to save the world or to be the new Messiahs, we just want our lives to be active and full of sense!

HARDCORE PROJECT MILANO 2009/10 ciao regà..vi posto un progetto che potrebbe interessare qualcuno sulla scena hardcore di milano: "Il nostro progetto va oltre il fattore musicale.Con l'aiuto del collettivo del cox 18(csoa conchetta milano) vogliamo dar spazio alla scena hardcore milanese ormai alla deriva. Il nostro obbiettivo consiste: -nel dare spazio alle giovani band italiane e non. -far avvicinare o semplicemente far conoscere a tutti le sottoculture vicine a questo genere come l'autoproduzione, il veganesimo, l'animalismo etc.. -promuovere la cultura del do it yourself(DIY) e l'autoproduzione in genere -far avvicinare le persone al centro sociale e alle sue iniziative -permettere alle persone di conoscersi e socializzare Le modalità per portare a buon fine questo progetto sono un pò: -innanzitutto testare il progetto con 1 o 2 serate -a progetto testato organizzare 1 serata mensile dedicata all'hardcore e non solo -nel preconcerto organizzare cene vegan(può essere un'idea!) e banchetti animalisti oppure mostre e presentazione di libri, prendendo spunto dall'esperienza dello sga di Arese -eventualmente organizzare un collettivo specifico che si occupi in articolare di questo progetto". questa cosa era già passata in cox ma per vari motivi compreso lo sgombero s'era dovuto rimandare..per chi fosse interessato a darci una mano con tutta la buona volontà e qualche sbattimento è il benvenuto!potete aggiungermi su myspace www.myspace.com/jailbirdhc ps:siamo disponibilissimi per ulteriori chiarimenti per mail. c'è davvero bisogno di una mano!HELP US! C'è un gruppo di roma i Taste the floor (HC) che vorrebbero suonare a viganello ma nn trovano la persona di riferimento. dovrebbbero suonare al molino tra un mese se nn errro, ma praticamente gli ho dirottati a viganello. vedi se puoi fare qualcosa al max ti mando il loro numero di cellulare.
