About me:
The founding members of Creative Support met nearly ten years ago on a message board for writers. At the time we were at various stages of our writing journeys. Several years later, as we began to get serious about honing our craft, we chose to form our own crit group.
But we are more than a critique group - as our name testifies. Of course we critique each other's writing. From the nit-picky grammar and punctuation, to the research, to the plot, theme and characterization. But more than that, we are a support group for each other's creative journeys. We share not only our writing, but also our lives. We vent, we cry, we laugh, we tease, we console, advise, motivate, commiserate... We support each other.
Over the years we've lost only one or two members and gained a couple new members, and through it all we continue to support each other and grow as writers.
