Join millions around the world on October 17(International day for the eradication of Poverty) by participating in this year's "STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT" global event. Last year 23.5 million people took part in what the Guiness records called 'the largest ever human mobilisation in the history of the records'
This year we aim to break that record.
You can help - and it's easy!
Join together with your friends, school mates or work colleges on October 17, stand up and read the pledge. Count how many people have 'stood up' at your event and report it. It's that easy!
For full details and to register your event visit www.makepovertyhistory.com.au - or if you live outside of Australia you can visit www.standagainstpoverty.org
