I am Factor6 and I'm a chiptune composer. I'm using mainly ZX Spectrum 128's AY 3-8912 sound chip and I've made hundreds of musics on it. I'm also making SID tunes on the Commodore 64 and MOD files on Amiga. I've made some chiptunes also for a classic Gameboy, Amstrad CPC, Atari XL/XE and Atari ST. I love these old machines, the old games, demos, and of course chip music by musicians of the 80/90's computer scene.
I'm a member of the chiptune-band called AY-RIDERS, together with YERZMYEY, TDM, C-JEFF, X-AGON and GASMAN. We're making MP3 albums of our chip music. We had also a live concert in 2004 in Warsaw!
AY-RIDERS newest single "Hung Up" is a cover of Madonna's hit, composed for TWO ZX SPECTRUMS! Yeah, since we didn't have a double AY interface, we made it with TDM on two machines separately and then mixed together.
First of all we added a new song to our website. It's Delta High Score by Rob Hubbard. Check out this great tune.
We are also very happy to present a first and sneak preview of the cd cover, which will be released later this year. This deluxe release of the C64 orchestra is designed by Hotel.
This deluxe version will be a limited edition, so pre order the cd now by sending us a message at our myspace.
my group up rough makes some a500 compatible stuff. da jormas made a fucking incredible demo a while back too. uhm. and... yea... amiga500 is the shit!!
hmm, well money shouldn't be that much of a problem for us, but if you lack time, that makes it kinda difficult :P
