Tutto nasce inizialmente da un progetto Rock Tecnico Sperimentale del chitarrista Cristian Di Napoli nato dalla passione per il famoso chitarrista Steve Vai.
Nel dicembre del 2007 Cristian conosce Simone Magistrato, che decide di fondere le sue forti influenze progressive a quelle del chitarrista.
Subito dopo entra a far parte del gruppo la bassista Federica Raschellà, amica di vecchia data di Simone ed anch' essa amante del progressive.
Così nascono i Fact Or Fiction (Certezza o Finzione) nome ideato da Cristian sulla base di uno dei più grandi problemi del mondo, la falsità .
Il gruppo comincia la ricerca di un tastierista e di un cantante validi per completare la formazione, e dopo qualche meterora il gruppo prova il cantante Roberto Flamigni, che dimostra subito grande professionalità e talento, e il tastierista Luciano Fiori, concludendo così la formazione.
