Factor is one of the busiest and most successful hip hop producers in Western Canada. Known for consistently dropping top notch product on his own Sideroad Records imprint out of Saskatoon since the late 90's, he's produced over 20 cds, a few 12" and 7" vinyls and has produced for some of North Americas best hip hop acts. Factor's music has garnered international distribution and he's received positive critical acclaim by way of magazine and website reviews as well as receiving radio play on college/community radio all over Canada, the US and even in Japan. Factor has toured extensively and has produced for Americans such as Awol One, Xzibit, Tash and Eswift (Tha Liks), Sadat X, Myka 9, Aceyalone, Busdriver, tha liks, Sunspot Jonz, P.S.C, Eligh, Aesop Rock, Joe Dub, Akuma, The Shapeshifters, Ceschi, Candy's 22 (Existereo and Barfly), and Kirby Dominant. He’s also worked with some of Canada's finest such as Moka Only, Josh Martinez, Noah 23, Benny E, Def 3, Epic, Kay The Aquanaut, Nolto, Cam the Wizzard, Gregory Pepper and many more. Factor's production combines smooth melodic samples and live instruments over immaculate drums put together seemingly effortlessly to create a distinct sound of his own and it's for this reason he's consistently banging out one of a kind beats as one of western underground hip hop's favorite new school producers. Factor Bio: Starting out as a DJ in 1998, Factor has evolved into a super producer / DJ working and touring with high caliber artists including: Awol One, Kirby Dominant, Josh Martinez, soso and the Side Road Crew. He is the founder, owner and operator of Side Road Records (2001), releasing over 20 professional albums in Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan. His most recent works include Chandelier, Famous Nights and Empty Days and Awol One and Factor Only Death Can Kill You.
