Pete (The Heat): Fats Domino, the Coasters, Ray Charles, Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Robert Johnson, Charlie Musselwhite, Sonny Boy Williamson, and (locally) Blue Barry Faust.
Steve (Big Daddy): Jim Reeves, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, Otis Redding, the Temptations, the O'Jays, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Eric Clapton,Albert King, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Lyle Lovett, AC/DC, Tony Bennett, Mel Torme, Ray Charles, the incomparable Nat King Cole, and (locally) Chris Ross, Blue Barry Faust, and Contrast Gray.
Buffy: Etta James, most funk bands of the late 70's.
Mark (Looper): Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Junk Yard Dogs, and his pecs. I made that last part up.
Frank (S. B. Man): the Village People! No, I just made that up, too. Frank is into MerleFest...goes every year. His two sons influence his musical tastes.
David: Per David, music by Megadeath and the like are too tame for him. Always on the search for an ear-splitting, sonic explosion, this dude listens to some far out s***! (Do they say "far out" anymore?) On the plus side, this boy r-o-c-k-s! (Did I say Boy?)

While you may hear a little bit of the original recording artist(s) rendition of a number, we put our own spin and sound into each thing we play. We sound uniquely like no one else but...Faded Blues. We are not just another copy of a copy of a copy.
Contemporary and classic blues with a twist of rock ’n’ roll: Faded Blues has been playing locally in beautiful Maryville, Tennessee since the summer of 2002. We are basically a blues-rock band although we also venture into other genres.
We enjoy ourselves and have a good time on stage which translates into our audiences really getting into what we put out there. See us live locally to see what we are about.
