Auteur / Compositeur / Interprète / Arrangeur / Multi-instrumentiste
Daniel commence la musique dès ses plus jeunes années avec son père à 12 ans, il écrit et compose ses premières mélodies sur la guitare et le piano familial.
A 15 ans, il fait ses premiers pas sur scène en tant que batteur dans différents groupes et orchestres de son Roussillon natal.
A 17 ans, à l'insu de sa famille qui le voudrait plus étudiant que musicien, il "monte à Paris" avec une maquette K7 en main mais aucun franc en poche,
juste de quoi payer le voyage et 6 jours dans un petit hôtel.
L'aventure commence ! Rue Jean Mermoz avec Jean-Jacques Tilchié (PDG de Philips ayant découvert et signé Claude François) qui lui signe un contrat d'édition d'artiste.
Musicien surdoué, sociétaire à la Sacem, ayant obtenu son diplôme d'arrangeur avec les félicitations des présidents du jury (Maurice Jarre, Michel Legrand), multi-instrumentiste, Daniel composera tout d'abord pour les autres : Marie Myriam, Dave et d'autres moins connus.
C'est François Porteri (compositeur du tube des Gold "Plus prés des étoiles" et cogérant du fameux studio Condorcet à Toulouse) qui le remarque en 1986 et lui propose de rentrer dans son "écurie" (Gold, Image, Jean-Pierre Mader, etc.)
En 1987, Daniel rencontre JaNoel (vedette sénégalaise des années 80) qui lui propose d'être batteur sur sa tournée, aimant la "world music", Daniel accepte.
Fin 87, c'est la rencontre avec les futurs membres de Solo dont Frank Eulry, actuellement chef d'orchestre et arrangeur de Laurent Voulsy et de bien d'autres...
En 88, le groupe Solo (dont Daniel est le chanteur) est signé Top Objectif chez CBS (actuellement Sony) avec enthousiasme, le label veut en faire un groupe européen, déjà à l'époque !
Solo enregistre ses titres avec Richard James Burgess (Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet, Living in a box, etc.).
Le groupe est "Espoir du Top 50" en 89 et "Main d'argent" (titre récompensant le meilleur single français) en 90.
A cette époque, le chef de communication de SOLO n'est autre qu'un certain Pascal Nègre (aujourd'hui Pdg d'Universal Music).
Daniel perfectionne son chant intensivement pendant 3 ans avec un certain Richard Cross. Cette collaboration intensive avec Richard Cross laissera place ensuite à une grande amitié.
Fin 91, le groupe se sépare et Daniel décide de voyager dans le monde entier afin d'écouter, d'apprendre et de s'enrichir personnellement...
Il se consacre aussi aux arts martiaux, ainsi qu'aux études musicales approfondies.
A son retour, Il crée alors une collection de disques pour enfants (6 albums distribués dans les pays francophones) aux "Sablier Editions", dont certains albums sont distribués à la FNAC et Nature et Découvertes.
Daniel composera aussi pour Sofia Mestari, Sandy Valentino, Véronika Loubry et préparait également un album pour Carole FREDERIKS mais elle nous quitta en 2001.
De la musique, il dit :

Talented musician, member at the SACEM, Daniel is a graduated arranger with the congratulations of the jury presidents (Maurice Jarre, Michel Legrand), multi-instrumentalist, Daniel composed for French famous artists Marie Myriam, Dave and some others.
Porteri François (composer tube Gold "closer to the stars" and Co-producer at Condorcet's famous studio in Toulouse), offered Daniel a contract to enter in his great team (Gold, Image, Jean-Pierre Mader , Etc.).
In 1987, Daniel meet JeaNo (featuring Senegalese 80s) that offers him to play drums in his band on tour, loving the "world music", Daniel accepts, it will travel! End 87, is the encounter with the future members of Solo which Eulry Frank, currently conductor and arranger of awarded singer Laurent Voulsy and many others ...
In 88, the group Solo (including Daniel as the lead singer) is signed Top Goal at CBS (now Sony), with enthusiasm, the label wants to make a European group, already at the time! Solo records its titles with Richard James Burgess (Peter Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Spandau Ballet, Living in a box, etc.)..
His vocal coach was Richard cross during 3 years, he became a good friend too.
Richard Cross is the best voice director in France and even in Europe since the 80’s.
The group is "Hope Top 50” in 89 and is" Hand of money "(as rewarding the best single French) in 90. At that time, the chief communications of the Daniel’s Band is no other than Negre Pascal (now PDG of Universal Music France). End 91 Daniel separates the group and decided to travel around the world to listen folk music, learn it, and to grow personally meeting the real misery of this cruel wild wide world...
Then Daniel dedicated his time to martial arts and musical depth studies , both complemantery master-ways. Then he creates a collection of discs for children (6 albums distributed in French-speaking countries) under "Sablier Editions" label, some albums are distributed at FNAC and Nature and Decouverte two national leadership music shops.
Daniel composed for Sofia Mestari, Sandy Valentino, and Veronika Loubry also preparing an album for Carole FREDERIK but she unfortnatly left in 2001.
From music, Daniel says:
