hi and welcome to my faerie trails. i hope you'll join me on my magical journey as i explore the faerie sites of wales, the inspiration for which is drawn from ancient folklore, myths and legends, some of which date back to at least the 13th century.... as you'll see this is not only a journey into the faerie realms but also a journey back in time! if you care to join me, you can follow my travels through my blogs and pics - i hope you'll enjoy them. and as i gradually unravel the 'fae' from the fairy tales i hope to one day be able to answer the question of 'who are the fae?' but in the meantime i continue to follow the fair folk wherever they may lead. and if i get 'pixie-led' well - at least we'll know they are there.
Who I'd like to meet: i'd like to meet people who are genuinely interested in chatting about faerie lore and/or faerie experiences. or anyone who can give me some pointers on my faerie trails. i am aware that i have a lot to learn and am open to the wisdom and experience of anyone with more knowledge of the fae than i have.

Serafina's dæmon is Kaisa, a large gray goose ~

this is a wonderous little place i visited recently....i fell in love with it so much i am sponsoring their progress......
its an underground shell grotto and no body knows who built it or why.......
there are over 4.6 million shells all in order of size and colour....i think its an ancient temple possibly pagan of origin,giving thanks to the gods for the harvest of the sea.....it has a truely magical atmosphere.....one of which i have never experienced before.......very beautiful energy......i could have stayed there for a long time.....
