hi and welcome to my faerie trails. i hope you'll join me on my magical journey as i explore the faerie sites of wales, the inspiration for which is drawn from ancient folklore, myths and legends, some of which date back to at least the 13th century.... as you'll see this is not only a journey into the faerie realms but also a journey back in time! if you care to join me, you can follow my travels through my blogs and pics - i hope you'll enjoy them. and as i gradually unravel the 'fae' from the fairy tales i hope to one day be able to answer the question of 'who are the fae?' but in the meantime i continue to follow the fair folk wherever they may lead. and if i get 'pixie-led' well - at least we'll know they are there.
Who I'd like to meet: i'd like to meet people who are genuinely interested in chatting about faerie lore and/or faerie experiences. or anyone who can give me some pointers on my faerie trails. i am aware that i have a lot to learn and am open to the wisdom and experience of anyone with more knowledge of the fae than i have.
i value the support of all my friends here as i journey into the faerie realms.
We were blessed by having a nice morning rain, and then again in the afternoon - I was just saying yesterday after I mowed the grass that I was welcoming some rain because my tomatoes needed it and of course I just mowed. I always welcome the rain because as you might know here in Kentucky ~ July & August are very dry months for us. It was so nice to be on the receiving end of rain today!
