About me:
"The myths and legends about Faerie are many and diverse, and often contradictory. Only one thing is certain - that nothing is certain. All things are possible in the land of Faerie."" Brian Froud and Alan Lee.

hi and welcome to my faerie trails. i hope you'll join me on my magical journey as i explore the faerie sites of wales, the inspiration for which is drawn from ancient folklore, myths and legends, some of which date back to at least the 13th century.... as you'll see this is not only a journey into the faerie realms but also a journey back in time! if you care to join me, you can follow my travels through my blogs and pics - i hope you'll enjoy them. and as i gradually unravel the 'fae' from the fairy tales i hope to one day be able to answer the question of 'who are the fae?' but in the meantime i continue to follow the fair folk wherever they may lead. and if i get 'pixie-led' well - at least we'll know they are there.
Who I'd like to meet: i'd like to meet people who are genuinely interested in chatting about faerie lore and/or faerie experiences. or anyone who can give me some pointers on my faerie trails. i am aware that i have a lot to learn and am open to the wisdom and experience of anyone with more knowledge of the fae than i have.
i value the support of all my friends here as i journey into the faerie realms.
Drip, drip, drip as the sun trumpets in a kiss of springtime. Soon, buds will bloom and a revitalization will come back from its winter hybernation. Love to all of you. I pray spring arrives soon. And while Im here.
Hey Sue I see the one you see...how cool that we all see differently that is why sometimes I hesitate to say what I see in case someone sees something different...lol...when you look at the hand with 4 fingers, her finger is connected to her chin...look at the face tis looking to the right...she has an upturned nose...very thoughtful cute smile... the whole shadow area takes up her head to waist area... Once you see her you wont miss her... she doesnt have wings well really I shouldnt say that as I can see very faint dragonfly wings on her...:o).... Tis so much fun finding Faeries... I LOVE it!!! Sprinkles....
The funny thing for me I cant see her wings... I see the faerie in the shadow area... she is looking to the right... she has 4 fingers on her hand which is positioned near her Heart Chakra... Is that what you are looking at... I do believe we all see differently... sprinkles....
