I draw the line at watching anything quality on television. This means that I normally watch reality shows: American Idol, America's Next Top Model, anything on MTV. I have, however, recently gotten into 24, but mostly for social reasons.

Don't expect my taste in movies to be any better than my taste in TV. I mostly like horror films and of that mostly of the genre "so bad it's good." My favs include any 80s slasher flick and anything by HG Lewis (the Godfather of Gore) - particularly 2000 Maniacs.

My taste in books is arguably better than my taste in either movies or TV. I am currently on a mission to read every Pulizer Prize winning novel. In between I read a lot of young adult books and memoirs. I am also writing a memoir, slowly but surely.
So, I know I said I wouldn't do anything with this...but then I got inspired. So here it is. This is my space. I bet you're surprised that this page is green huh? Well, contrary to popular belief, green is my favorite color. It's true, I swear.
Anyways, perhaps you want to know something about me? I am a web editor in Chicago. I am a grad student at DePaul studying writing. Despite the fact that I am a writer and editor I don't mind bad grammar unless it is in a professional publication. I am writing a memoir that used to be a novel that I hope will get published some day. But everyone says that.
I like coffee and Coke and hamburgers with my ketchup and French fries. Really, I like anything made from a potato. I like to bake and will never buy cake mixes or anything like that, all from scratch (with the exception of Jiffy muffins, I could live off of those). I often consider ditching everything and running off to culinary school and opening a bakery. I make the best hot chocolate ever. Period. I really do.
I am also obsessed with photography and take way too many photos. Way too many. I put all of my photos on my website...and in albums...and a lot in frames too.
If this little snippet of my life truly fascinated you (and I am ever so sure it has) I keep a pretty detailed blog of every minute detail of my life at
