Music
Thinking

"Until and unless you discover that money is the root of all good, you ask for your own destruction. When money ceases to become the means by which men deal with one another, then men become the tools of other men. Blood, whips and guns--or dollars. Take your choice--there is no other."

About me:
I'll add more to this later, I'm still forming. What I do know is that I'm driven by my senses and a strong dissatisfaction with my current surroundings. So rather than
continue on the typical "about me" road that leads to a self evaluation sorely lacking in illuminatory abilities, I'll give a list.
Josh likes:
Learning
Playing Viola
Experiencing every possible aspect of music
Reading a nice book
Being with friends I can be comfortable around
Taking naps
Being idealistic
Seeing everything as part of some bizarre cosmic (often comic) whole
Noticing things other people don't
Seeing patterns in everything (except random things)
Minimalism (in music)
Josh does not like:
High school
Deadlines
bureaucracy
Modernism
"Ivory Tower" types
The current atmosphere of the classical music world (stuffy and uninteresting at best)
You gay bastard (seriously, the mailman is probably your dad), how is Boston, with it's hidden surprises beneath the snow? Vegas is a pretty fun town, with its 24 hours smoothie places, excellent yakiniku joints, and beautiful people as far as the eye can see.
