Flat Affect formed in the Fall of 2006, but each member has been in and out of bands for years. If you're from the area, you'll probably recognize at least one of them at any given show. Their individual experiences influence the band's sounds and creative side. In short, they rock the house but don't cater to the masses. If you're craving a sound that is unique, you've come to the right place.
In 1996, Kary Cook and Greg Larson formed the band, Lather and they have been in and out of different projects together since. Mike Schuyler has been in numerous bands, the latest being 'Y' where he played rhythm guitar. Steve Bystrom has been in numerous bands as well and he's also currently the bass guitar player in The Enemies.
