Forming originally under a different guise and name in 2003, Failing Kurtz has been reborn with a purpose. As one fan has put it "Failing Kurtz is where music today SHOULD be going." With a solid lineup of shows booking up, fans regionally will soon become acquainted with what southern Maryland already knows. The guys in the band remain firmly entrenched in the belief that if you write music from the heart and the soul, the rest will follow.
