Heroes
Heroes that have truly made a difference in my life would have to be my birth family, my family, and my friends. I was adopted from South Korea when I was 3 months old. My birth family (biological parents and 3 older sisters) knew they couldn't give me the life they wanted me to have so they put me up for adoption. They are my heroes because they had the courage to give me up so I could have all the opportunities in life they weren't able to give me. My parents are my heroes because they love me as if I was their own flesh and blood. They chose me to be their daughter and have given me everything that I have and will ever need. Their love and support has made me into the person I am today. I am forever grateful for that. My friends are my heroes because they keep me going even when I feel like giving up. They have always been there when I needed them and I know they always will be. My friends are the best and I know I'm lucky to have them. And Superman (especially Tom Welling from Smallville!) can save my day anytime! =)
