  • Bio

Fairfield Station was a touring and recording band from Westport, Ct. We toured for The Department of Defense overseas playing in countries such as Germany, Great Britain,Wales and Holland. That was in 1993. Fairfield Station was a kicking hard driving melodic Rock band with great musicians. Consisting of Tara Engler-vocals, Kirk Snedeker and/or Jodi Herman - Drums and percussion. Jeff Grinnell - Keyboards and Lead vocals. Jamie Lebish- Lead/Rhythm guitar , bass and vocals. Joel Rosendal- Bass, Dominic Zullo-Bass toured Europe with us. Fairfield Station played rooms as Big as Toad's Place in New Haven, Ct, to a show I played with the Five O'Cloks opening for Eddie Money at a 20,000 seat venue at Lake Compounce concert arena, and theme park in upstate Ct., all the way to Gates in New Canaan, and Shenanigans in Norwalk, Ct. The song "Some people" was written by Jamie Lebish in 1985. This version was recorded live at Shenanigans during a video shoot with (Wahoo Recording artists-The Five O'Clocks in 1995) "The Key" was originally written By Keith Amoroso,(Rest in Peace my friend). In 1992 Keith Amo, Jeff and I, Jodi and bassist Mike put together a little rock band named Amo. Jeff and I and the band re-wrote that song and recorded it at my fathers',(unbeknownst to him) cabin in Vermont. Which ultimately became "The Vermont Tapes". After Amo, Jeff and I took this song to Radio 1 Studios in N.Y.C. and recorded "The Key" with Tara Engler on vocals and I played all guitars and bass, Jeff played keys, Kirk Snedeker on Drums, Jeff and I co-produced with engineer extraordinaire Blaise Sires. Tara's vocal abilities are amazing (especially at 5 am). Fairfield Station broke up in 1996 but remained active in writing and recording. Jeff Grinnell and I had a Studio(John and Gay Mehegans' old studio in Westport) at our disposal and we recorded huge amounts of great material. 1 by 1, I will find and add these tracks to this site. These songs are for your listening pleasure as well as use by others bands looking for material. As of 2000 Jamie Lebish has been living and playing in Portland, Maine...............Create your own visitor map!......
