FAIR TRADE has brought passion, emotion, and pure inspiration back to the capitol city. While playing through-out Sacramento FAIR TRADE has gained a large following for their amazing sound and stage presence. They will have you dancing your ass off and screaming for that encore. In a city overrun with cover bands FAIR TRADE takes pride in their song writing and constantly perfecting each performance.
CHAD WAGONER - lead singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter. Chad has encompassed his life experiences, travels, and relationships into the songs he writes. After picking up a guitar for the first time at the age of 19, he knew that he had found his life’s path. With a background in theater Chad explored music and song writing, soon starting, with his close friend Ryan Sacco what is now Fair trade. After a few transitions the band really became what it is when Quinn joined the line-up.
QUINN HEDGES - Lead Guitar, backing vocals, and mandolin. As native of Newark, DE, began playing guitar and writing songs around the age of 15; although, he has been around music his entire life. After moving to California he earned his degree in music. He released his first solo album “QUINN HEDGES” IN 2006. Quinn has played in various bands throughout California before FAIR TRADE. His unique style, a mix of classic old school and experimental sounds, breathes new soul into the band’s sound.
HENRY "MITCH" MITCHELL - Drums. Like water brings new life to a wilted plant, Mitch’s drum style brings an essential power to FAIR TRADE’s songs. Mitch is not only an unbelievably talented drummer but a commanding performer as well. Watching him behind his kit is like watching a master painter; every stroke a genius perfection. His resume reads like a who’s who of Sacramento bands, but with this wisdom comes a youthful energy; there is a secret surprise to be found in every beat.
LEELAND TURNER - Bass. Lee showed up to practice one day, and he just wouldn't go away. They thought about calling the police, but he sort of quietly grew on them. Anyhow, they needed a bass player so they house trained him and taught him a few riffs and now he follows them around to shows laying down a smooth bottom end to their songs. One day he will probably wander away… but until then, it’s not so bad having him around.
