A one-off band project by MARTYN JOSEPH, TOM ROBINSON and STEVE KNIGHTLEY. The three songwriters first sang together in an impromptu performance at the 2000 Greenbelt Festival - "Faith Folk and Anarchy" pretty much sums up what ensued on stage that night. Inspired to work further together, they recorded an album under this name in Dec 2001. They subsequently toured in early 2002 and played a reunion show in London in March 2004. All copies of the album have now sold out but the songs can now be downloaded free from the Faith Folk & Anarchy website. Martyn and Steve have continued to collaborate on various projects ever since, Tom now works as a radio presenter on BBC 6 Music
My goodness, what a stunning set at the RAH !!, The rest of the gig weren't too shabby either ;-).
So what date do I put in my diary for the reunion then ?
Tx
Oh you all SO have to go out on tour again! You were FABULOUS at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday and it looked as if you were all enjoying yourselves as much as the rest of us were..
Thank you for a really GREAT night...and ohhhh hurry up and do it all again soon!
Please please please please please make the reunion come true, as you were so fantastic for those few songs last night in the Albert. Thankyou so much x
A belated, but nonetheless, very warm 'Welcome Aboard' Good to have you in Myspace and really looking forward to seeing you all at The Royal Albert Hall this Easter Sunday, along with 'that other fella' from Show of Hands.. ;0)
It'd be great to see you three getting back together again. We certainly could use some Faith...Folk...and Anarchy at the present time in this country.
Anyway, take care and thanks for some great songs.
