Books
A series of books by Dave Peltzer:
starting with "A Child Called It"...tears your heart out. Then you read the rest of the series through his childhood, teen years and manhood...and he becomes the strongest man you never met!
Heroes
..Blue>MY MOM, Hands down!, my Aunties who were raised in an orphanage and survived!
My sons....and all who care for/rescue our furry friends. My chosen sister, Pauline. She is the most selfless person...I so admire her. She cares for her ailing father..her mom too till last year, 24-7, has been married forever and survived it! in a way I can only aspire too...she loves me with all my flaws and the crap in my life, which has been pretty consistant for the last 10yrs+, listens to me and lets me spew all the necessary venom without criticism, ire, supplying me with 'truths'...she just listens and supports what I decided to do in any situation. She is like my mom in so many ways...but she is my silly, wacky, sister instead.
About me: Family First...Always.
*Gotta go for it, no one will do it for you.
*Why stand still, you just grow moss on your feet and no one can see your fabulous shoes!
I want to live to be 100 as long as my mind and body work pretty well.
I never want to be a burden to my family,
I just want to be loved and appreciated.
Clay Aiken is a wonderful young man. How can one person grow so fast and leave his impression on so many? He is good kind funny and talented. This kind of entertainer has not come round in decades!
My children are the air I breath...they make me crazy...but man, do I love em. I am not sure they will ever fully appreciate how very much. That is ok...then they would get a great big head! Can't have that.
I want to win the lottery. Who doesn't? I know...but I would share, give it away...make some folks lives easier for a time. Money may not solve everything but it sure gives you the freedom to make choices...freedom to do some good for people whether they deserve it or not... It can't buy happiness but it can buy relief of constant worry.
Me? well, I'm not that exciting really. My mom, my husband, my kids, my friends, my siblings...now they MAKE me exciting, special, smart, funny...yeah, they (sorry Tom) complete me!
That's all I got for now...

I'm sorry to hear that you have been having such a rough time! I'm sure that's not an easy thing for a mom! However, I know that Tanner will find his way in life, and that you will always be the most important person in his life... I know that doesn't help now, but things will get better!!! Hang in there! :)
