    Jesse O’Neal, Adam Johnson and Jeff Pertz formed Faith in Ashes in 2004. Originally, their music was geared in a melodic, Opeth-esque direction but as the members wrote together and learned from each other’s influences, their writing progressed and grew to include more technical passages and to take on a unique sound of its own. With the addition of Justin Valletta, the writing took a darker turn and Faith in Ashes found themselves on the path to melodic, progressive black metal. With the recent addition of Greg Meckley, a 16 year old musical prodigy, skilled with: piano, guitar, bass, drums, and violin, the final, missing symphonic element was added and Faith in Ashes is complete. Faith in Ashes is fully active and is currently recording their Debut EP with Mike Schaffer of Blatant Disarray, and are ready to pursue management, endorsements, interviews, and label representation. All members are available for travel for individual dates (as well as national and international touring, with advance notice) and are more than interested in performing with all metal projects. Locally, Faith in Ashes draws well (THANK YOU to all of the local supporters!) and has had success out of state, based on merchandise sales and contact from new listeners, as well as feedback from venue representatives. We make a particular effort to advertise shows and will work with all local performers to ensure a good turn out for the metal supporting venues.
