    Regular Host of the Vanilla Bean Cafe Open Mic on the first friday of every month in Pomfret. I teach art and songwriting in my free time. I'm a multi-media artist, musician, author and performer. I never sleep. =)

    just me....Faith Montaperto...I've been performing since I was a child...but only recently in the last few years have I taken up songwriting. It's been a joy to work with some fabulous musicians: Trevor Giles, Shane Mcgee, Bonnie Lee Panda, William Fields, Dee Nedder, and Cynthia Brooks. My inspiration for music has been completely zapped full. I wake up in the morning and I write, I go to bed and I write. It's a part of me and I love singing the words I wrote. It's been a joy. .. .. .. .. ..

  • Influences

    first and foremost, Yeshua, God, Adonai, Aba, The Father, Son and the Holy Ghost =) Next I'd have to say...my mother and grandmother as they were both singers. As far as artitst today: I'd have to say indigo girls, dave mathews band, tori amos, tracy chapman and sarah mcglauchlan. as far as writing...i really love the songs of rascall flatts. i am especially moved by the genres of country, accapella, folk/rock and indie music. I also love celtic, swing, blues. I'd label my music "Recovery-Inspired Music with a touch of Blues/Gospel/Folk" The NEW CD is coming out this month!!!! It will be available online, CD Baby, Itunes, Amazon and at stores like Borders, etc. Check it out!!! It's called "GOD SHOWED ME A BUTTERFLY"

  • Sounds Like

    I have a really deep voice, when you talk to me...and I always sang tenor with the boys in highschool..but in the last few years I've been working at stretching my range...and I can sing pretty high now....i'd have to say a mix between amy ray and emily salliers from indigo girls...but honestly i'd rather not be labled. =)
