About me:
Faith Salie is perhaps the only Rhodes scholar performing comedy intentionally. Most recently, you could hear her every weeknight on Fair Game with Faith Salie from Public Radio International. On Fair Game, Faith treated the news like her plaything: she took the big stories in politics, science, business, and entertainment, blew them up and then put them back together again. Faith interviewed newsmakers like politicians, journalists, authors, Oscar-winning directors, actors, comedians and also hosted live bands all in one glorious hour. Fair Game was kind of like the evolution of the variety show. (That is, if you believe in evolution. If you don't, then it was the show that God made.) Fair Game was available nationally on local public radio stations, as well as on the show's website, MoreFairGame.org. The show was also available as a free podcast on iTunes.

Faith was a star of the critically-acclaimed improvisational sitcom, Significant Others (available on DVD). As an actor, her television resumé ranges from a memorable turn in gold lamé on Sex and the City to reaching the arcane iconic status of a "tradable life form" for Star Trek: Deep Space Nine fans. A former pop-culture pundit on a variety of VH-1 shows, Faith has regularly performed as a stand-up comedian at the Hollywood Improv. She is also a television writer and has created/executive produced pilots for Fox, VH-1, and the Oxygen Network.
Faith cut her professional teeth in the dark, competitive world of children's musical theatre during her childhood in Atlanta.
She's currently a monthly contributor to O, the Oprah Magazine, as an ethics expert. She recognizes the irony in this assignment. Fair Game was Faith's first foray into public radio, where she was immersed in the show as co-creator, host, writer, and producer. While she's always happy to see more women in comedy, she's still not sure if they should have the right to vote.
