FaizeMusic was conceived in 2002 by me Steve Parr, a self-confessed house music anorak and DJ as a means of channelling my passion and to present the music in a way that no other site was doing at the time. Since then the site has gradually established itself as a very popular resource for the Soulful/US House sound on the internet and now into its fourth year holds a strong position in this genre online receiving around 150.000 visitors a month that come back time and again due to the up-to-date and easy to digest information offered. I receive regular content and great support from many of the industries leading DJs, Producers, labels and promotion companies who regard the site as an ideal promotional tool with which to push their material. In addition to this I was given the opportunity to have a weekly MixShow on www.motionfm.com which goes out every Thursday evening. I really enjoy doing this as it enables me to present the music favoured by the site all mixed together and showcase my ability as a DJ.
The main key features of FaizeMusic is the Upront NEWS Single REVIEWS (with sound clips) Album REVIEWS - INTERVIEWS & Label PROFILES. The site also has a section for Club nights and Events where promoters can list anything they want the readers to know about.
I maintain the site in the little spare time I have!! (Due to being Married with two kids and a Full time job!) and for the interest I have in the music, I dont make any money out of it even though my wife would prefer if I did!!
::About Me::
I've always had an interest in mixing music together, when I was younger I would drive my parents mad trying to 'Pause/Record' songs together using the tape player on their stereo.! Eventually I began DJing in 1991 with the event of my mates and I getting into the Rave scene. I had been collecting records since the mid 80's when I was buying a lot of Hip Hop & Electro as well as early house cuts... My taste gradually progressed to US Garage in 1994 and it's with that style of music that I found my passion. I've had a steady string of residencies around the region over the past 15 years and have gained a lot of recognition and respect as a DJ who can always deliver what the crowd want.
I would describe my style as very smooth and technical with the influence of Hip Hop, Soul, Gospel and early Electro House, I also have a vast collection of Classics that I like to thrown in for good measure.!

The track itself comes in no fewer than eight mixes which between them provide the opportunity to bring “Baby Blue” to the widest possible audience. The deep, soul drenched “Main Mix” and lighter, rhodes and guitar infused “DJ Greg Soulful Mix” are both just as pleasant on a sun kissed beach as they are suited to the dance floor. “DJ Floy's Spiritual Mix” drums up a storm with tribal rhythms while Nikos Diamadopoulos provides a darker, edgier spin on proceedings. “CJ Giovanni's Organ Dub Mix” is a moody affair before the “Charly H Fox Dark Mix” does exactly what the title suggests. “Zen Men's 610 Remix” offers a chilled down tempo alternative with the package being completed by Georg Nuefeld's “Deepchord Dub Mix”. The common thread through each of the mixes is a stunning performance by Bruno Soares on sax which each of the remixers has treated sympathetically.
