Lysz ;)
Thank you very much! I knew that would probably be the case, so I thought I would make sure. I might have to head out to a local book store and see if we have anything perhaps. That seems like that would be very handy for me, and you're German and you even have one and learned something from it.
So, I'll have to take a look at the book store when I get a chance!
Ah, I thought that would be the correct way, but I wasn't too sure.
I have two questions about German grammar, I was hoping you might be able to answer these two.
The first one, I think I might know. How do you know when to use der, das, die, etc? Or how do you know when to end a word with en, e, t, es, etc? It seems like that would be something you just have to catch on too, I'm not entirely sure.
Also, could you explain how the wording works in German? I'm starting to get into more complex sentences, and the wording is throwing me off.
For instance, in English we say:
Why does mom wash the dog?
In German:
Warum wäscht Mama den Hund?
First of all, I can't find a correct definition for "warum", it seems to mean, why, is that correct?
And why does it in the German sentence, why does wash go before anything? That's been throwing me off like crazy all of a sudden?
