Fall 2 Earth is quickly becoming the Bay area's hottest new band. With a strong fan base and an ever increasing set list of today's Modern Rock hits, 90's Alternative Rock hits and Rock hits from the 70s & 80s, Fall 2 Earth keeps their fans coming back for more. Fall 2 Earth diligently works on learning new material to keep their shows fresh and people on the dance floor.

Fall 2 Earth consists of Sonya "Pinky" Lynn on Lead & back-up Vocals, Guitar and Harmonica, Mark Walling on Lead Guitar, Mike Podber on Percussion and Erik Vasquenz on Bass, Lead & Back-up Vocals.

Mark and Sonya have been collaborating on projects since July of 2003. Their talent, chemistry and enthusiasm will amaze you when you see them perform. "The Socialites" of the group, Mark and Sonya are always meeting and greeting people at every show, which perpetually builds on an already strong fan base.

In 2008, the band welcomed drummer Mike Podber. Mike is a solid drummer, and with our newest member Erik Vasquenz who joined the band in December 2009, the F2E rhythm section will simply blow you away!

The four have merged their vast musical talent, knowledge and experience to form what is quickly becoming the hottest new band in the area.

ABOUT THE MEMBERS:

Sonya "Pinky" Lynn, lead vocalist for Fall 2 Earth, thrills audiences with her dynamic stage presence and power house of a voice. Having performed on stage since the age of eight, Sonya's vocal ability combines elements of jazz, blues, grunge and classical. Also an accomplished guitar and harmonic player, you will see her pick both up during live performances. Sonya has said that teaming up with Mark Walling, lead guitar player for Fall 2 Earth, both romantically and creatively has changed her life. She admits that finding her soul mate in life has anchored her more solidly in her creative, personal and professional endeavors.

Mark "The Walrus" Walling, lead guitarist for Fall 2 Earth, evokes images of Alex Lifeson and similar guitarists with every riff you hear him play. The creative musical genius behind the band s originals, he teams up frequently with Sonya Lynn Walling to write haunting lyrics that touch the souls of everyone who hears their songs. Originally the bass player for the band Tattooed Bleu, Mark and Sonya's first project together, Mark vowed the moment he picked up the guitar to fill in for resigning T2B member Roger Smith that he would never play bass again. The energy he possesses on the guitar drives crowds to the stage either to watch him play or dance the night away.

Mike "The Face" Podber, drummer, was introduced to Fall 2 Earth in late June 2008 through a friend, and was immediately offered the opportunity to join forces with the band. Mike, who has built his reputation as a drummer for strictly originaly projects, broke down for the first time ever and agreed to join and play covers. This combination of characters and musicians just felt right to him. After about three shows, Mike cracked his radial head bone in his elbow and needed surgery. After two months of rehab, a couple of fill in drummers, and several doctors telling him not to think about drumming for at least 8 months, Mike has been tearing up the drums again with Fall 2 Earth way ahead of expectations. Mike's solid drumming and flashy drum solos add to the unique sound of F2E.

Erik "GQ" Vasquenz, bass, is the newest member of Fall 2 Earth. Joining the band in December of 2009, this left-handed bass player and powerhouse of a performer brings solid bass playing skills and strong vocals to the mix. Formerly of local band Partners in Crime, Erik is a solid cover bassist with strong creative skills and powerful vocal ability. His diverse skills and easy-going attitude greatly expands the diversity of Fall 2 Earth's set lists.
