The Fallen Angels Club's Blurbs |
About me:
The Fallen Angels Club was launched in February 2003 by it's sole promoter Kevin Morris and in such a short time has manged to host a whole array of Americana acts both from home and abroad.
The Fallen Angels Club concentrates mainly on acts making their first trip to the UK with the hope of turning them into a more established act.
The Fallen Angels Club has promoted over 60 acts in just under 2 years of existence, consisting of both local and artists from America, Canada, Germany and Italy. Over the past 20 months or so we have given a whole host of acts their first gig, we have also given local talent the chance to perform with artists from other parts of the world. One of the main success stories of The Fallen Angels Club was Karine Polwart who performed at The Fallen Angels on the 7th October 2004 and 5 months after her Fallen Angels Club gig has went on to bigger and greater things since scooping 3 BBC Radio 2 folk awards.
