Steve got into the band scene 8 years ago with a few friends from high school. Working with a few close friends the band changed members a few times and Steve took on the role of Lead singer, Pianist and Manager. He originally met Devin 6 years ago when his band was looking for a group to open for one of their shows. Steve has worked with a few different groups but never really found a group of musicians that meshed together. Over the last 3 years, the path always came back to working on music with Devin. During this time Devin introduced Steve to Logan, who he had actually already known through his brother, filled in the Bass for the group. Steve, Devin and Logan were 3 of the 4 originals for Devins idea of the Fallen Heroes. Fate yet again put them back together.
Devin started playing guitar when he was 10 years old with only the two chords his Dad showed him. From there Devin taught himself how to play and by grade 10 had written his first song. That same year he started his first band, which included Logan,but only lasted a couple of months before the other members broke away. Devin finally got together with Steve and started to jam every now and then, finally coming up with a full band. When that fell apart, Devin and Steve kept jamming trying to piece things back together to get something going again. Logan came back into the mix and Josh and Tyler rounded off the group.
Logan started playing bass in grade 10. He was new in school and decided that music would be a good way to meet people, he overheard a group of guys saying they have a band but its so damn hard to find a bass player, so thats when he decided to pick it up. He took lessons in Okotoks for about a year then trained himself afterwords, it ended up being Devins band that was looking for the bass player and thats what started out our career together, and our good friendship. He met Steve through his little brother who was originally in the band with Devin and Logan. Once again over the last 3 years fate put them back together.
One of the final additions to the Fallen Heroes is Tyler. Tyler moved to Alberta from Ontario in June of 2008 in pursue of work. He found a job which sat him alongside Steve in the office he was assigned. They found a common ground in their passion for music. Tyler has played guitar and written lyrics for a while. Steve invited him to come check out the group that he and Devin were trying to get off the ground and found a good mix within the group.
The final piece of the puzzle for the Fallen Heroes was Josh. He is a self taught drummer from Hampshire, England. He first started playing music at a young age with the tenor horn, moving onto the piano then finally on to the drums. He has been in many bands in the UK varying in different styles from hardcore, punk to metal. Josh moved to Canada in December 2007 hoping to further his career in acting, performing arts and music. He studied these subjects at Queen Mary's College in the UK.
The Fallen Heroes composes great friendship and strong passion for Music.
