Falling Sickness was born Christmas Day 1989, in our original drummer's bedroom. His little brother, Israel, had gotten a bass for Christmas; we already had a drum set and a microphone. All we needed was a guitarist and someone who actually knew how to play an instrument. That afternoon Israel called his friend, Fritz, who knew how to play guitar, to come over, and the rest is history. Ancient history. You see, Falling Sickness started as a faraway dream, and Fritz and I are the only one's who have stuck it out. We've been through two major car accidents, years of hacking away at it, playing local shows with bands like Rancid, Voodoo Glow Skulls, the Mighty Mighty Bosstones and having absolutely nothing to show for it, until we met Louis Posen from Hopeless Records. That was in 1995.
In 1996, we put out our first full length

this band was great. i saw em twice in Chicago. the second time they opened for Fifteen. after the show, i smoked up Zach and Gabe and then took em out for burritos. it was a fun night for sure. Because the World Has Failed Us Both is awesome all the way through. my favorite songs off of it are: All That You Paid For, Right On Time For Nothing, Sleep It Off, Still Thirsty, Floorspace and Missoula's Gonna Get You. i just loaded both of their albums into my ipod. good, raw punk rock!!! gotta luv it!!!
