FallingDusk is a Portuguese band.

In 2001, two friends came together to create a new musical project. FallingDusk was born determined to contribute positively to the European Power Metal scene. André Prista and Frederico Trigueiros were responsible for recording a Demo in 2003, named Creatures from Heaven .

FallingDusk debuted on stage the following year.

Very focused minded, in 2005 both friends went separate ways due to musical divergences, but the 20th year old friendship did not cease.

In 2008, they joined forces again to reshape the old project and redefined it. This same friendship created an album: Vitta. André was responsible for all musical creation, direction, and production. Fred outlined the concept. And both asked Fabio Conde, a great and mutual friend, to design it all.

Vitta is the album from FallingDusk for 2009. It’s real, it’s noisy, it’s true and it’s their most ambitious project yet. Many guests worldwide star on it and it’s topped with mastering by Brian Gardner. It’s a meaningful album that reflects the life we’ve been living.
