My parents of course, God, and Jesus. I have A LOT of people that I like, but I don't know if I'd count them as heroes. JOHN LENNON

About me: I accept your premise...I reject your conclusion. Hey, thanks for stumbling upon my little home on the inter-web. My name is Laura and I am 18 years old. I have FINALLY graduated from the torture pit that is Lancaster High School and am ready to move on to bigger and better things. At the end of August I will be leaving for Erskine College and I am really excited!!! It took me a long time, but this year in high school I finally became comfortable and less shy. I like to laugh (I'm a total comedy nerd--and a nerd in general). My favorite comedians include (but not exclusive to) Steve Martin, Andy Kaufman, Mike Myers, Dana Carvey, Emo Philips, Eddie Izzard, Ricky Gervais, Monty Python (that whole lot), Conan O'Brien, John Ritter, and Robin Williams. I am also a vinyl record buff (check under my pictures in "Vinyl Collection") and love music. My favorite band is THE BEATLES--nah duh, and my favorite Beatle is probably...John Lennon. I also love to listen to Simon and Garfunkel (in the sounds of silence...) and I like random other artists (Weird Al Yankovic for one--who I got to see up close at his concert in August 2007. He shook my hand!!) I like to read and write. For the time being I work at Goody's department store and can be seen around town driving my 1996 Saturn. It's the "best" car you have EVER seen in your life. So...this is me, that's it. I'm out of here!
I found this somewhere...
..After A HARD's DAY NIGHT,ELEANOR RIGBY might not have a TICKET TO RIDE to the LONG AND WINDING ROAD.But I'm sure we can HELP! We can COME TOGETHER & WE CAN WORK IT OUT. So LOVE ME DO--FROM ME TO YOU show your love for The Beatles..
thenewno2!!!
Who I'd like to meet: PAUL McCARTNEY, RINGO, JIMMY FALLON, CONAN O'BRIEN, MIKE MYERS, WEIRD AL YANKOVIC (AGAIN...and get a picture or autograph, I was too stunned the first time to do ANYTHING), EMO PHILIPS, DHANI HARRISON, ERIC IDLE OR ANYONE ELSE FROM MONTY PYTHON. (AND IF THEY WEREN'T DEAD...JOHN LENNON, GEORGE HARRISON, ANDY KAUFMAN, AND JOHN RITTER. RIP.)
Hey Laura and congrats on graduating ! Whoa time such a weird thing we endure it speeds and slows but always passes numbing and disjointing this experience called life and ultimately passes us by in the flash of an eye ! As always thanks for sharing a brief part and small space, hope your autumn is warm, reflective and cozy. Bigups from Oz.
Hi Laura Jane! I haven't stopped by your page in a long time! Emo performed in North Carolina last week, and I got to see him! Thought you'd like to see the picture...
Hi ♥Laura Jane♥, the gang and I just finished our new video SPELLFURY 2, Would love to know what you think of it? We're trying to find an audience for it, so anything you can do to help get it out there would be much appreciated!
yeah retail sucks. i'm about to quite this once i have an interview for another job...this is hell too. no one knows what the f is going on ever, and today i went to get some stuff and my mom came...i went to the back to get my schedule for next week, and the bitch was like oh idk when it will come out. yeah she does she makes it. drtfgyuk. they make me so mad. i probably got an ulcer from this job and its stress...i go tomorrow for an endoscopy, and if that wasn't bad enough, i disloacted my shoulder, had to get it back in place and that hurt like a mother. this job is slowly killing me. ok sorry for bitching but i bet you can relate. when do you move in?
i see you work in retail never heard of your store, is it a southern thing? i work at kohl's. not really that great. prob have an ulcer from stress, we will see on tuesday, when i have an endoscopy done. hope you are feeling great, and having fun or will be having fun at school! i think when we started talking you were a sophomore. :O
Hey - I recently finished arranging and recording a new song. Misdirection was a song my father wrote about 15 years ago that has always been a favorite of mine and was very influential in the writing of many of my songs over the years.
It's 7 minutes with a long, building crescendo ending. Please take the time to listen and drop me a comment with your thoughts.
I was eating socks last night, I plucked them off the washing line one by one by the sink. The yellow socks as usual tasted best. As I thumbed through the socks to make my selection they played different notes - the longer athletic socks made deep resonant sounds, while the shorter dress socks produced higher pitched tones that set my teeth on edge.
