About me: I'm in an old garage way back in the bare hills of Robert E. Lee Park. Inside my doors I have running shoes, running clothes and running accessories. I do have a dungeon with various spikes, stretching ropes, and other toys down there for those of you interested in the racier aspects of running.
Brands include Adidas, Asics, Brooks, Mizuno, New Balance, Nike, Pearl Izumi, Saucony, and UnderArmour.
I like to put together competitive racing teams and throw parties for the mid and pack of the packers. Of course, the fast people can come out and have some fun too!
Hey, if the Billy Mills video doesnt' play for you, just click on the audio, close your eyes and listen. You won't get to see him elbowed out into lane 4 in an action which would have DQ'd many runners today, but the audio will take you back to the day when racing was racing. The only US Gold ever in the Olympic 10K, and he PR'd at 5K in route. Enjoy!
Who I'd like to meet: Sprinters, marathoners, trail runners, fast runners, slow runners, tracksters, roadracers, triathletes, duathletes, senior Olympians, swimmers, mountain climbers, ultimate frisbee players, disc golfers, walkers, people who are in real good shape, and people who want to get in shape.
hey you gotta see this website, itll show you if anyone we go to school with has a crush on you. i just tried it and it really worked lol i cant believe it!
We'd love to have any friends of Falls Road Running to come out the the Jingle Bell 5K Run for Arthritis in Ellicott City on Dec. 2. It is an awesome run and for a great cause!!!
For those racing at Grapevine on Sunday - 8 am meet at the FRR store OR there is the meet in Federal Hill option, also at 8. I have some room left (me, Brian, Terence and I can take 2 more)
Ry-
If you didn't notice, i am not one of FRR's (not ffr) top friends; this should help you see that i am not the one who is bumping you around. I'd hate to break it to ya ol' pal, but i think it was no other than the head man himself. I had no influence over the recent changes. sorry ry ry. Oh, and if i had a say, we would both be in the top 2, me first of course.
FRRS we need to get you hooked up with a calendar section so you can put up all the races we're doing. For those who are reading this you can also check out my profile for scheduled races. And next week's track workout will be our last LONG interval one, we'll be doing 6-8x1000 depending on which group you're in.
Geez, R, I just may have to join you and run alternating 400's. This is what happens when you get old an broken down. At least I haven't been turned into Soylent Green yet.
Joel that is a fantastic idea. I can post the workout as a comment, or Jim can perhaps put it in the calendar section. By doing that he can add notes to it, so people can see the workout, and then we can also put up races. I'll do that on my page as well.
This isn't really a coment, but a suggestion. You should have Ryan post the workouts on here, so that people can access them. Also - race results, announcements, all that stuff. It'd be good to keep this site going.
