FALSE CAUSE is a three piece hardcore punk band from Las Vegas NV. All three members have been in some of the more well known hard punk bands in the Vegas scene over the years. Growing up listening to bands like R.K.L., D.R.I., SLAYER and AGNOSTIC FRONT, the guys in FALSE CAUSE play a blistering set of loud, fast, angry hardcore punk. They will go from a brutal double bass onslaught to a more melodic punk sound sometimes in the same song, all the while staying true to the oldschool hardcore punk style they love so much. After about eight months of relative inactivity in 2005 they released the "ALL FUCT UP" seven song EP on FACE FIRST RECORDS, the CD sold out via internet sales, and spured the band on to start playing again. Just so far in 2006-2009 alone they have done a westcoast tour with Schiesse Minelli (Germany) and played shows with such bands as AGENT ORANGE / D.I. / The GENETORTURERS / ILL REPUTE / U. K. SUBS / SCHIESSE MINELLI / BUTT TRUMPET / DR. KNOW / TROUBLE MAKER / The BAD SAMARITANS / G.G. ELVIS & THE TCP BAND / THE LAST PRIORITY / YOUTH BRIGADE / DOGSFLESH / SHATTERED FAITH and many more well known acts. With the talent,drive, and their high energy, one of kind, live show FALSE CAUSE has seperated themselves from the other bands in the west coast "scene". With a live CD (Live at Burnt Ramen), two seven inch vinyl releases , a full length CD (all on FACE FIRST RECORDS),as well as a Euopean CD release, all due out before the end of the year, FALSE CAUSE has been very busy this year. I saw them in San Francisco at Burnt Ramen over the summer and was blown away, they are an amazing band to see live.
