I wanted to see this movie for two reasons: 1 - Because I have seen the original, 1980 classic FAME; and 2 - Because the trailers for this version looked really good.My thoughts: I loved it! I cannot say it was better than, or even attempt to compare this movie to the original. It would be like trying to compare apples to oranges. Both versions of FAME were excellent, as they were very different, individual movies; both movies were good, and I loved both of them; each one was unique. I do know that when I left the theater, I had the song "Fame" stuck in my head, and I am ready and willing to watch it again! |
