About me:

This website has been developed by college students specifically for the Family Planning Clinics and Men's Health Center Projects of STFPHC.

The vision of South Texas Family Planning is to enable every individual to assume responsibility, achieve self-sufficiency, and secure themseleves into emotional, physical, and financial preparadness by accessing family planning and education services, and linking to other local community resources prior to becoming parents or prior to becoming sexually active.

OUR MISSION:
The primary purpose of this corporation is to provide voluntary, high quality family planning, preventative educational, and other health services to all persons who want and need them.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:
We believe in the provision of easily accessible and affordable quality family planning services and education for all, including the under-privileged, indigent, and working poor populations. The principles we base our philosophy on include helping individuals to:

Assume Personal Responsibility - We believe it is up to each individual to make responsible decisions about their life by providing the essential support to help them take control of their reproductive health, including men. We offer services to men too.

Achieve Self-Sufficiency - We believe that each individual will make responsible choices and help overcome personal poverty, by utilizing family planning & education services to plan their children and create a safe and adequate environment conducive to responsible parenting.

We serve Men too! Our "M"-Power Men Project Motivates Men to be Mindful of their Mate, Maintain their own reprodutive health care, and Make time for a check-up."
