"Tell me what you regard as your greatest strength, so I will know how best to undermine you; tell me of your greatest fear, so I will know which I must force you to face; tell me what you cherish most, so I will know what to take from you; and tell me what you crave, so that I might deny you."
Music
This is the song I want played at my funeral:
Movies
Anchorman, Serenity, L.A. Confidential, Iron Man, The Dark Knight, Fight Club, Dawn Of The Dead, Casablanca, Amazing Grace, The Transporter, Snatch, Kicking and Screaming (The Noah Baumback film, not the Will Ferell one) Raiders of the Lost Ark, Cool Hand Luke, Serenity, the original Star Wars trilogy, Midnight Run, Goodfellas, Army of Darkness, Blade Runner, X-Men, X-2 and X-3, Layer Cake, Batman Begins, Spider-Man I & II, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Children of Men, Little Miss Sunshine, and for my 80's teen movie pick: Some Kind of Wonderful. Best John Hughes movie...EVER. Black and white movies kick ass...back when people in film had quick, clever conversations and the people in them actually knew how to act. And give me anything scary...the more movies you make about zombies or crazy, irradiated, inbred kill-happy hill people, the more freakin' popcorn I'll eat! I'm also pretty fond of this video:
Television
Heroes, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Colbert Report, Burn Notice, Family Guy, The Venture Brothers, The Office, Reno 911, and Lost. Why they canceled "Firefly" but pap like "Ugly Betty" remains on the air is proof of the need of the coming apocalypse.
Books
Of Mice and Men, Catcher in the Rye (How many FBI watch lists does THAT put me on?) The Death of Free Speech by John Ziegler, the Portrait of Dorian Gray, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Pulp Novels of any kind, the Shannara series by Terry Brooks, If Chins Could Kill by Bruce Campbell, Fight Club, The Legacy Of The Force Series, Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series, Eldon Thompson's Legend of Asahiel series, and a smattering of books by Koontz and Crichton. I love me some horror and junk science.
Heroes
J.D. Salinger, C.S. Lewis, Abraham Lincoln, John Ziegler, Captain America and my Dad.
About me: I once killed a man just to watch him die. Unfortunately, I was distracted by a butterfly as he gasped his last; thus I had to kill a second man shortly thereafter. A senseless waste, really. Especially considering the second guy held on so long that I fell asleep and missed his death as well. I am currently looking for victim #3.
I am a freelance writer currently living in California. I have written scripts for several manga titles including Devil May Cry 3, Hyper Police, Remote, STONe, Battle Club, Heaven Above Heaven, and my personal bests, Dragon Head, King Of Thorn and Rebirth. Someday, I hope friends of mine may even read them.
IN STORES NOW: Warcraft: Legends Volume 2. I have a short story in this volume called "Family Values". It's on shelves November 11, so throw me a frickin' bone and pick one up, won't you?
IN STORES NOW:
King Of Thorn continues to get more intense as the survivors make new discoveries as to the origin and true nature of the Medusa virus...all while trying to avoid the many, many horrific creatures it has spawned!
Who I'd like to meet: Stephen Colbert! That cat rules!
Every time the commercial ran I laughed so hard. Oh, and I almost dropped by the Rocket but I realized I didn't have any pants to wear and there was a new video game release so I passed.
Well, shit...that didn't take long! I think this is the fastest 4-day passes for comic-con have been sold out! Guess I'm gonna have to wrangle a press pass this time. Power of the media, lol.
Hope you're well...don't kill anybody unless you know you can get away with it, lol!
That's the wonders of wrestling gimmicks. And they work to perfection. As much as he was hated, he was still one of the cooler wrestlers around. He started growing on me after awhile. Lots of these guys outside the ring are extremely cool. I still remember going to a live show, and shaking Jimmy Snuka's and the Magnificent Muraco's hands after they had a match...still one of my best wrestling memories. It would be cool to see him at Con this year. I'll be there for sure this year.
Love the new background...can't wait for the movie. Despite the setbacks you've had...I DO wish for better days ahead, my friend. Don't let the Man keep you down! After all...once the shit hits the fan...at least you've got Cap's Shield, and you'll be ready for combat!
Hey Buddy! Yeah San Diego's great so far, but I miss my Riverside peeps. So, you're thinkin' about movin to SD eh? Well wouldn't that be dandy?! I'm workin' at a restaurant downtown, so you can come entertain me there! "Reunited and it feels so good!"
Most definitely. I have no car, but you are welcome to come out to Burbank to visit any time. We should also talk writing. I'm trying to do more, and I'd love to find a way to get paid for it. Any ideas??
There are still openings at my job if you want to get away from office politics. Okay there are office politics but the pay is better and you get sick pay and vacation days.
Hey big bro! XD Sorry I haven't talked to you lately... I've been so fricking busy!!! I go to volleyball practice every day after school. Basically, I have to run about 3 miles a day. When I get home from volleyball, I have to do the crapload of homework I was given. By the time I get that done, I'm completely exhausted and have no time for anything.
Anyway... Hope all is well... I'll talk to you later, mmkay? I love you!!!
