We are Laura Jean; 14, Shandi Kaye; 14, Marychristine; 17. three girls from all across michigan form together to create a new sound they like to call "a double shot of espresso." the girls, laura jean, marychristine, and shandi kaye, all come from musical backgrounds and have a strong passion for music. while all three girls have different tastes and personalities in music they come together to perform their songs with exquisite style and grace. currently, famous for something is in the process of recording their first cd, the influence. future endeavors consist of a summer tour with radio disney, and being featured on local radio stations, among many other projects. "we love to just have fun, dance around the stage, be crazy, be ourselves." smiles laura jean, 14, vocals, guitarist. "it's always been my dream to look out into the audience and see thousands of people having the greatest time of their life." "we take everything in as an inspiration, and make it work with our music in any way possible. heck, even cheese can be an inspiration, and i don't even like cheese!" giggles shandi, 14, supporting vocals and drummer. "we have a lot of talent, it's random, it's something hollywood needs. girls who aren't afraid of being themselves, and proud to be who they are. yeah, that's us." exclaims marychristine, 17, vocals, pianist. with each passing day their dream is becoming more of a reality as their fan base grows thanks in large part to myspace. these girls have the ambition and potential ability to take on the world and that is exactly what they plan on doing 'one city at a time' they exclaim! hollywood here they come.
