About me: PROUD MEMBER OF THE ATOMX CREW-GEEKS UNITE!
After being more than impressed by the first Fan Films I'd seen a few years back, mainly Sandy Colora's BATMAN-DEAD END and Dan Poole's THE GREEN GOBLIN'S LAST STAND, I was hooked! It amazed Me that amateur filmakers with little or no budget could turn out such impressive films. These labors of love known simply as "Fan Films" are fan made films based on everything from famous Comic Book characters to popular Sci-Fi, Horror, and Action films. Fan Films are strictly non-profit, they merely pay homage to the subject of the films. Since Fan Filmmakers are so devoted to their subject matter Fan Films are often more accurate representations of the said properties, especially when it comes to films based on comic book characters. After discovering this wonderful new world I surfed the web for any and all Fan Films I could get My hands on coming across hidden gems here and there and meeting some great people in the process. Although there were quite a few Fan Films online I noticed that there weren't alot of sites dedicated to the Fan Film genre in general, that's when I got the idea to start up one of my own and Fanboy Theatre was born! The Fan Film community is small and tight knit, but it's growing bigger and bigger everyday as the popularity of Fan Films continue to rise. Check out the new episode of Cee Diddy & Kyle: SUPERSTARS. This week the boys try to find fame by starting a fight with those who are already famous. It sounds like a good idea to me.
It's a new month so its time for another look at Kyle's favorite comic book company, Aspen Comics. Last month Cee Diddy was pretty brutal but has promised to change his tune this time around. Check out the video and please comment and rate so Kyle doesn't cry that Kat-El gets more views.
