Now with a few years and over 500 shows behind them, Dave Houghton (vocals, guitars), Paul Kochanski (upright bass) and Jason Smith (drums) continues to explore new ways to bring out the folk for the anti-folk.
Fancy Trash has toured extensively up and down the East coast and through the Midwest, Colorado and California. They have opened for national acts such as The Jayhawks, Marah, BR549, The New Amsterdams, Lucero, Devotchka, Hackensaw Boys, and Jesse Malin, and shared bills with notable regional acts like The Figgs, Haunt, Spouse and Mark Mulcahy.
Fancy Trash's charged live shows earned the band a reputation as a successful act at venues around the United States such as T.T. the Bear's (Cambridge, MA), Hotel Utah (San Francisco, CA), Elbo Room (Chicago IL), Fox Theater (Boulder, CO), Foundation Room @ The House of Blues (Los Angeles CA), The Rodeo Bar (NYC) and Iron Horse (Northampton, MA).
