Los Angeles-based Fanny Pak formed gradually as a group of friends who took classes together and eventually started to perform for fun. Now, Matt, Glenda, Phillip, Tiffani, Barracuda, Beau and Megan all want the world to know that they're not afraid to "go there." All while sporting their very own fanny packs...
Team leader and choreographer Matt Cady is the sun in the Fanny Pak solar system, having taught the class where most of the crew met. His crewmate Glenda Morales is a vegetable-loathing Harry Potter fan with an internal alarm clock that wakes her up promptly at 8 a.m. every morning. Less of a morning person and more of a chocoholic, Phillip Collins is relishing the opportunity to follow his dreams. Also living the dream is kooky aspiring dance therapist Tiffani Grant, who simply lives, eats and breathes dance.
Barracuda thinks her fashion sense captures her personality: loud, crazy, bright and not too serious. Meanwhile, Beau Fournier, a Britney Spears fanatic and raspberry iced tea enthusiast, hopes to inspire people to let their crazy selves come alive when he unleashes his fancy footwork. Rounding out the crew is Canadian Megan Lawson, who is an eBay addict that harbors a love of travel.

Sooo we're in the studio right now laying down a new song with Chonique Sneed (THE GIRL ON THE TACO BELL COMMERCIAL)! Go check her out, she's dope... The track we're doing with her is called "Show Out," its so fun. And you're NOT ready for "Cheap and Beat" hahaha!! Its an anthem to being cheap, but still being beat while you do it =) we mention cracker jack rings vs bling, and the clearance rack... You're not ready haha...
And we leave for hawaii tomorrow!!! Its a new set... 9 minutes long... Phew, we're gonna be hella tired... But so worth it =) till then!

Hello fanny world! Its a beautiful afternoon and the pak has just touched down in Hawaii! We are performing this weekend at the Hawaii 50th state fair at aloha stadium..we've been working hard on a new set and will be serving story and props for days! The past few months we have been busy on our album(some amazing collabs in the works), as well as a new line of fanny pak apparel..which will have plenty of character..wink wink:). I know everyone is wanting to rock their very own pair of fanny battle 1 sneakers, and thank you so much for all the support and feedback. Shoes will be in stores for back to school baby, and the black version will be out soon as well-keep checkin. We also spent 3 weeks in NYC shooting a documentary on the fannies at a ballet academy. We got to teach the kids a bit of our style and creative process and we also climbed into some tights and got our own taste of that ballet training! Random, always. Stay tuned for more adventures of fanny pak.

Well the cd is going great! We just finished up this track with chonique sneed, she's beat. The song is riduclous and its my favorite beat that we have so I'm stoked! We have some funny things in the works "cheap and beat"?! Get in! Things are just going and going and we can't wait for it to be out....

When I'm not no where near cali and my home you guys have more shows in like SF and around San Jose >.> go figure lol. I also love the new shirts and stuff btw. :) I miss you guys and cali dearly because really louisiana is really not for me stupid mosqitoes <---spelled wrong I know lol I rather call them blood suckers but yeah. Apparently I'm like uber allergic to them and its bad so I DROWN myself in mosqitoe repellent everyday before I go ANYWHERE including my own house. >.> UGH its rather frustrating. I want to visit california when my sister graduates from UC Davis however the plane tickets are so over priced its not even funny so Idk if I'll get to. So now I'm sad I won't get to visit the lovely non-mosqitoed california T.T sad I know. School is easy peasy. I get out in MAY GRADUATION WOOT! wanna come to my graduation? xD Well I gotta go to town... I wasnt use to saying that. Well TTYS I HOPE!
